I used to think that beauty was a natural quality, imprinted in a privileged genetic load, and whoever was not lucky enough to inherit genes that expressed themselves with “perfect” qualities, did not have much more to do to look good.
After much research, reading and analyzing the science behind beauty, I was able to understand that, regardless of this being a concept rooted in our evolutionary chain and social context, beauty is the quality of looking, feeling and being healthy, and it is the result of positive habits that heal from the inside out.
Beauty is basically a daily decision, and not just a fortuitous fact. Because even natural beauty is ephemeral if it is not cultivated. That being the case, the good news is that it is possible for absolutely everyone to achieve its own beauty!
Having the discipline to follow your self-care routines (personalized nutrition, movement, hydration, mindfulness, journaling, and of course, skincare) will not only give you moments that you will enjoy today, achieving well-being in your daily life, but are also investments for the future. True anti-aging medicine is just consistency in your healthy habits!
